The journey so far has covered many aspects of my watchmaking process, from materials to movement to design. We’ve even discussed manufacturing processes and the problem-solving required.
Complex projects like this take time, and patience is key to getting things right. All this time can be frustrating. But occasionally, we reach moments that make the work worthwhile—small wins along the way that remind you of the end goal.
This week I’ve reached one of these moments. After a lot of machine tweaking and broken tools, I was able to test-assemble the bracelet, and it felt just right. There is still a long way to go, but the feeling of touching something that first existed only on my mind is impossible to describe.
